Flea Treatment Preparation Checklist
Fleas are not easy to control, but we can do it together. The more thorough your preparation, the more effective the treatment. Several treatments may be needed before control is achieved.

Before the treatment
Have your pets treated by a veterinarian, or with a veterinarian-grade flea treatment, before the technician visits.
Pick up all papers, clothing and anything else on the floors.
Sweep and wash all floor surfaces.
Vacuum all carpeted areas.
Time out of the home
Everyone, including pets, stays out of the home for 6 hours after the treatment. Children under 2, anyone pregnant and anyone with a respiratory illness stays out for 24 hours.
After the treatment
- Do not wash any floor surfaces until the problem is gone.
If these steps have not been followed, the treatment may have to be rescheduled and a service fee charged.
